About Nellie

Hi! I'm Nellie, a caring, energetic, and reliable childcare professional with 7 years of experience working with children ages 6 months-18 years. My background includes full-time nannying, swim instruction, lifeguarding, substitute teaching, and youth fitness coaching. During college, I nannied for two families, caring for children ranging from 6-month-old twins to age 7. I handled school and activity transportation, meal preparation, light housekeeping, routines, and creating fun activities. I truly loved becoming a trusted part of each family! Most recently post-grad, I've worked as a swim instructor and USA Swimming coach, personal trainer and teen strength coach. I'm a certified Lifeguard, and CPR/First Aid/AED certified. Bonus: I can teach your kids how to swim! I'm relocating from Vermont to Charlotte in mid-October 2026 and am looking for 20-30 hours/week at $25/hour.
