About Nekia

My experience has allowed me to work with children and adults with Autism and other behavioral disorders and people of all abilities. I am passionate about making every child I meet feel seen, heard, and loved for exactly who they are. I am told that I have a gently and friendly approach that makes children at ease and free to be themselves. I have experience working with children close in age to one another, twins, multiple sets of twins at a time, you name it- and I can truly say I love it all. I like working with kids because they are our future. I think one of the things that helps make people successful is encountering a loving and encouraging environment and it's a joy to be a small part in people's stories.
