About Nekia

I am a 29-year-old, California from Long Beach California who loves children. Currently, I am a childcare provider and work with newborns to elementary school aged children. I am looking for long term employment if that is something your family would be interested in. My motto when it comes to working with children is "I am hoping what you're hoping for"- under my care, your children will be cared for and loved as if they are my own family. My experience has allowed me to work with children and adults with Autism and other behavioral disorders and people of all abilities. I am passionate about making every child I meet feel seen, heard, and loved for exactly who they are. I am told that I have a gently and friendly approach that makes children at ease and free to be themselves. I have experience working with children close in age to one another, twins, multiple sets of twins at a time, you name it- and I can truly say I love it all.
