About Karla

Hello! My name is Karla, and I'm based in the Coachella Valley in CA. With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, as well as being a mother and grandmother, I offer a unique understanding of child development. I hold an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from College of the Desert (1998) and have worked as a Head Start and State Preschool Teacher for both Coachella Valley and Desert Sands Unified School Districts. In these roles, I gained experience in classroom management, curriculum design, and supporting children with special needs. I've also served as an Assistant Director at a private childcare center and have experience working with high school special education and foreign language departments.
