While I have never been named an errand runner, I have been working in the service industry since I was 15 years old. In this profession, which supported me throughout my pursuit to become a Speech-Language Pathologist, I have learned how to be both a server and bartender. I have also babysat for 10+ years, where I have supported families by running errands and cleaning their house. Please feel free to reach out with any questions as I'd be happy to discuss my experience further!

Natasha was a great communicator from day one, and everything went very smoothly initially. We were in contact for about 2-3 weeks to arrange a summer position caring for my 4.5-year-old daughter. She even came to our house to meet the kids beforehand. However, just 6 days before she was supposed to start, she texted to cancel, stating she had accepted another job offer from a family friend. While I understand that other opportunities arise, this is simply not the way to handle a professional commitment. She had already come to our home and met the kids, and I had planned our entire summer around this arrangement (at a very competitive rate). Even if a different offer comes along, there is an ethical responsibility to honor your agreements, rather than leaving a family scrambling at the last minute.
