About Natalie

I'm a licensed NV educator and experienced Chemistry and AP Chemistry teacher with 8 years of experience helping students build confidence and succeed. I currently teach full-time at a public school in Las Vegas and have extensive experience working with students at a wide range of ability levels and backgrounds. I developed a highly successful AP Chem program. My students achieved a 97% exam pass rate, compared to a 76% global pass rate. I believe this success comes from helping students move beyond memorizing formulas and procedures to truly understanding the chemistry behind them. My tutoring approach is interactive and supportive with a focus on learning by doing. I incorporate guided practice, visual models, and hands-on approaches whenever possible. My goal is to identify where a student is struggling, strengthen foundational skills, and gradually build the confidence needed to tackle more challenging chemistry concepts independently.
