I'm an experienced educator with 9 years of teaching experience, including Special Education, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Algebra, reading, and writing. I enjoy helping students build confidence by breaking challenging concepts into manageable steps and adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs. My Special Education background has given me extensive experience working with students who benefit from extra patience, encouragement, repetition, or a different approach to learning. I can assist with homework, skill-building, organization, test preparation, and strengthening foundational skills in math and language arts. I'm patient, dependable, and encouraging, and I strive to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to help students understand the material while becoming more confident and independent learners.
