About Ashley

Hi! I'm an elementary educator and tutor with a background in psychology and experience working directly in classrooms. I currently support students as a paraeducator on Mercer Island and tutor children in reading, writing, and math. I love helping students build confidence in their learning while making academic skills feel approachable and manageable. I have experience supporting a wide range of learners, including students who benefit from extra structure, encouragement, and help staying focused or organized. My approach is patient, supportive, and strengths-based. Whether we're working through math problems, building reading skills, or tackling homework, I aim to create a calm environment where kids feel capable and proud of their progress.
