I am an experienced nanny with more than 15 years of experience, including 10 years caring for a special needs child with significant medical needs. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in English education in Thailand and working for three years as a teacher, I moved to the US and initially spent two years with a family as an au pair. I have since served as a nanny for several families in Alexandria, working with the families for several years each when their children were infants and continuing into the toddler/pre-K period. I am available to work full time and welcome for nanny share. I enjoy working with children and love helping them grow and learn. Narin cared for our infant daughter as part of a nanny share and we have only positive things to say about her! Narin is so loving, attentive, and patient - she read to our baby all the time, took her outside every day, and made her feel secure, safe, and loved. Our daughter adores Narin and truly thrived under her care - before Narin, our daughter took short cat naps and we struggled with establishing a routine for her, but Narin quickly helped us figure out a schedule that worked and gave us the gift of a baby who takes long naps! Narin is communicative, knowledgable, dependable, thoughtful, and so kind - we are better parents for knowing Narin and feel so lucky to have her in our lives.
