About Naomi

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, expressive, and personable! I started working with kids when I was 16 years old as an after school counselor. Since 2016, I have been an outdoor education instructor for elementary students, a substitute, para-educator, a university teaching assistant, and a travel and service program leader for high school students - taking groups of teens abroad to places such as Sweden, Peru, and Chile. In my spare time I like to rock climb, study other languages, cook a new recipe, spend time in nature, call my friends/family, and read. I am an innovative, creative person who values time in nature and time for artistic expression. I would say some strengths of mine are; communication and active listening - Patience - Cultural sensitivity and Inclusion - emotional regulation - safety awareness
