About Naomi

Hello!!! I worked multiple childcare jobs from a preschool to being an Art Instructor at the Indy Art Center. I am also in my senior year at Indiana University, getting a double major in Art Education and Graphic design. My approach involves play-based learning and emotional support! I find it important to be gentle and to encourage the child's interests/imagination, even in an out of school setting. I have experience running a classroom, accounting for all my students safety, finding conflict resolution between classmates, aiding with students sicknesses, and their separation anxiety. I can also create lesson plans and activities to help the child explore their interests. I am also willing to adapt to the child's needs and interests and whatever else the family needs!! My biggest joys are creating art, being outside, being with my pets, and teaching!
