About Nancy

Substitute Teacher with 3 years of substitute teaching 2014-Present 2 years with SAISD. Summer Youth Program Recreation Assistant for two years 2015-Present. Pre-K 4 SA Assistant Teacher one year before moving on to substitute teaching 2014. SAISD Custodian 2012-2013 so light cleaning is no problem as well. I have been a Substitute Teacher for the past 3 years and have extensive experience in tutoring children with reading and writing comprehension. My work day at the charter school I subbed at consisted of tutoring students in my off periods. As an avid book reader, I believe every child should have the chance to discover a new world awaiting them behind the cover of a book. Many also do not realize the power of a pen and paper with the advantages of creating their own world. My methods include bringing fun and learning into the same environment to help the child understand the power of reading.
