About Nancy

I'm passionate about helping students unlock their potential through personalized support. With a graduate degree and three years of experience in software engineering and as a teaching assistant at Hunter college, I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I assess individual learning styles by actively listening and observing, adapting my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I keep students motivated by celebrating small successes and breaking down complex problems. Communication is essential; I provide regular updates to students and parents to build trust and reinforce learning. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring.
