Through my experience working at a 5-Star nursing and rehabilitation facility on Cape Cod as a Life Enrichment provider, and as my mother's care giver throughout her long journey with Parkinson's disease, I learned many ways to enhance your or a loved one's ability to remain independent and to live life as fully as possible at all stages of life As a Companion Caregiver I bring my positive outlook, ability to spark interests, memories and to make others know they are valued and respected. I bring friendship, understanding, compassion, and laughter. I enjoy preparing favorite family recipes to meet nutritional needs, chat, organize spaces to simplify daily activities, track and prompt medications, manage and drive to appointments, activities, prepare/ implement a Care Plan.. Outings are a favorite, if possible. I am an experienced chair yoga instructor, can help with P/T exercises, games and cards, help with water color & acrylic painting, discuss books Also Respite & Post Surgery
