About Nalina

I am super energetic and outgoing and I have been working with kids for many years in my past jobs, and have loved every minute of it! For a few years I worked at Stir It Up Cooking School in Boulder, CO where I helped teach kids ages 7-13 how to make healthy and delicious foods from all over the world. Via a HS program, I also student taught for 2 years working in a kindergarten classroom helping and teaching kids fun new things! Along with that, I had the opportunity to participate in a program called Eye to Eye. This program was aimed at helping younger kids with learning disabilities (ADHD, Dyslexia, etc.) succeed in and out of the classroom. Growing up having a learning disability has not only given me the tools to advocate for myself, but for others too. During 2020-21 I also took a year off college and nannied full time (45hrs/wk) for 5 kiddos. Through this I helped guide them through their remote schooling for the year helping with preschool, kinder, and first grade.

HIGHLY recommended! Nalina was amazing! I can't say how lucky we felt to have her for the last year! She was a true gem in so many ways! Extremely mature, excellent communication, dependable ...everything and more than we could possibly have expected! She patiently tutored my daughter (1st grade) after school (now she has a great routine for the rest of the year..and into the future..), she took her swimming on occasion, picked up my son from daycare (when needed/ and fed/ watched him too with our issues), prepped dinner, picked up the living areas. Her energy and attitude was a perfect fit all around!
