I have 11+ years experience with new borns to teenagers, one-on-one to 100+ kids, supporting families of all kinds including nanny shares, post-surgery doula work, and 4 years housecleaning. Nakoa has been great with our 2 year old boy. From being on-time and flexible to taking our son swimming, and playing around the house.  If we asked Nakoa to work on ABCs or drawing, it always happened. He was receptive to our parenting style and very thoughtful, mentioning things throughout the day we might want to know. 

Nakoa has been providing ongoing care for our son and another family's child this Fall 3 days/week. My son is always happy and smiling upon each pickup so I know he is loved and cared for each day. Nakoa is also very communicative and dedicated to collaborating with parents to ensure consistency and support for the little ones. He really cares about maintaining a positive environment for the kids and genuinely enjoys spending time with them. Nakoa has also managed evolving needs as the two kids grow and reach new milestones with ease and a lot of flexibility.

If it weren't for some life updates that resulted in care needs changing into the New Year, we would happily continue to employ Nakoa as a trusted caregiver for our son. I highly recommend him to other families seeking a calm, fun, and loving person for their child to spend time with!

Nakoa is amazing! My family and I flew into Portland for a wedding and we booked Nakoa to watch our toddler twins in our hotel room!! Being in a small hotel room w/ 2 toddlers is already a challenge, but Nakoa knocked it out of the park!! Highly recommended!!

Nakoa was great for the week with our kiddo while we rebuilt our fence. Easy going, flexible and great with our 1 year old. Nakoa integrated well with his needs taking him to the park, playing with him, and napping with him when he needed. Would hire again.

Nakoa was a wonderful addition to our home. Our little one connected to Nakoa quickly and enjoyed the time they spent together. We look forward to when Nakoa comes back into town!

Nakoa is great!  He is punctual, responsive, and by far the most communicative babysitter/nanny I have interacted with.  My toddler had a great time playing with Nakoa while I was gone. Nakoa was clearly experienced and knowledgeable, which really made me feel at ease.  I would highly recommend him!

I hired Nakoa for the day to watch my two girls age 2.5 and 4 months. Nakoa was kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and very capable. My girls had a great day with him, and I would definitely hire him again!

Nakoa was amazing to work with. Both of my boys (3 and 8) were always excited to hear that Nakoa was coming over. He spent time connecting with both of them and making sure they both had fun which can be difficult when there's a 5 year age gap. I highly recommend!

Alexander/Nakoa is kind, present, fun, flexible, and caring. He and my 4 year-old son clicked immediately. Nakoa has skillfully and compassionately helped my son navigate some complicated situations with a friend from the playground. Alexander/Nakoa has been a wonderful sitter for my 11 month old and 3 year old! He's got a very relaxed energy which we appreciate! My kids love being around him. He has also been super helpful cleaning up the house, and very organized and communicative, good at keeping track of our inconsistent schedule.
