About Jonae

I've been an educator for over 15 years across NYC, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Delaware, working in private, public, and charter schools to build and run wellness curriculum, because kids need more than classroom basics to become well-rounded, socially aware, kind, generous, intelligent people, and none of that happens without this work. My specialty is early childhood, but I've taught everyone from age 2 to adults over 20, so I know how to meet a child where they are. What I bring into a home is the same thing I've built my career on: confidence through creative exploration and self-sufficiency, where I guide rather than direct so a child can find their own way to an answer. I'm also an accredited trauma-informed practitioner and meditation teacher, and my support lives in the mind-body connection, using somatic tools for self and co-regulation, so a child can feel their big feelings and still land back at center.
