About Naiya

I recently taught middle school science and will be beginning law school this fall. I enjoy creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment for children while also helping with academics and routines. I'd describe my personality is empathetic, caring and kind. I like working with kids because as a former middle school science teacher, I've always enjoyed helping children learn, grow, and feel supported. I value creating a calm, engaging, and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. I started working with kids when I was about 16, I would babysit for my neighbors. I worked with students for about 2 years at that middle school age as an educator. In my spare time, I like to read books, play with my doggies and I enjoy studying. My skills include academics, child supervision, active listening, behavior management and communications.
