I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. With a graduate degree in teaching from NYU and five years of experience, I provide personalized support to foster a love for learning, not just memorization. I have won multiple teaching awards. I adapt my teaching methods by actively listening to students and varying my strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests and celebrating successes. Communication is essential, so I provide regular updates to parents to reinforce learning at home. I have experience with challenging students. Helping students achieve their academic goals is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I speak English and Spanish, have a car, and am comfortable with pets.
