Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my tutoring practice. My core philosophy centers on building genuine confidence and fostering a lasting love for learning, rather than relying on rote memorization. During my first year of tutoring, I have learned that the most effective approach begins with active listening and observing how a student interacts with new material. I adapt my methods by connecting challenging concepts to real-world examples or the student's personal interests to keep them engaged. I believe clear, consistent communication with both students and parents is essential for tracking progress and setting expectations. I hold CPR training and First Aid certifications. Whether we meet at a library or community center, I look forward to witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks for you.
