I have two brothers who have autism spectrum disorders. from watching different professionals work with them it has made me interested in working in a similar field myself. I have volunteered in my churches nursery and during youth group in watching children with special needs such as behavioral, learning or mental challenges. I currently work as a teacher's assistant at an elementary school assisting in the needs of various students with special needs. I have been in the childcare field for 10 years and have experience with children ranging in age from newborn to pre teens.
