Hello there! My name is Monica and I am a dancer and caregiver located in Nevada City, CA. I have been nannying for over 6 years now and dancing for 10 years. I am thrilled to combine my love for working with children and my love for dance in a very special way. I would love to be the teacher that helps deepen your child's love for dance! I received my Bachelor of Arts in dance from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I received training primarily in contemporary dance and ballet. If your child has interest in either of these forms of dance, I would be happy to be of service! I have also taught creative dance at Deer Creek Elementary in Nevada City and absolutely loved teaching a freedom-based form of movement. This is great for children who want more of a playful exploration of movement in a highly creative way. I am so happy to help your child grow their love for dance.
