About Emery

Hi there! I have tutored and taught for over a decade. My subjects have varied, but I've tutored French, English, creative writing, literature, chess, and even history! My strongest subjects are English and creative writing. I've been writing for over 15 years now, I have my BA in English and creative writing, and I am a trained writing center tutor. I've helped students with papers, creative projects, and even novels. I've also tutored French, chess, and even history and mythology (Greek, Norse, and Elizabethan England). I learned French in France, studying at the institute of Touraine, and can speak and read fluently. I can teach study skills or college prep skills. I studied for 5 years, and can help with more obscure literary assignments. My teaching style is the one that meets you where you're at.
