About Monica

Hello parents! I'm Monica, an extraverted UIUC graduate with a degree in Psychology and a love for children and animals! While pursuing my degree I took multiple courses relevant to children's Psychology, including Education and Psychological Development. I have a year's experience working daily at a bilingual kindergarten in 2016 with 30 kids aged 3-6. I also had the privilege of being part of the German LifeSaving Organization as a swim instructor in the same year. Since then I have worked for nearly two years as a nanny to two local children, an infant and a toddler, as well as two years as a Registered Behavior Technician for toddlers with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I found my passion in providing positive and assent-based care to kiddos with special needs and I hope to always keep that passion in my life somehow!
