About Tegan

I like working with kids because I love fostering their passions. One of my biggest joys is supporting others as an educator and I've truly found my calling working in childcare. I adore children's enthusiasm and individuality, which is why I'm pursuing my degree in pediatric psychology at the UIUC. In my free time, I like to paint Mini figures, write lyrics and compose. I teach vocals as well as sing classic opera, I write D&D campaigns. I'm also learning to 3D model and print. One thing to know about me is that I worked at a culinary camp for over 7 years, and have extensive experience with educating people on food/kitchen safety and preparation. My skills include fostering creativity, encouraging kindness, helping children develop healthy habits and holding them accountable by discussing their actions, and de-escalation.
