About Monet

Passionate about helping all types of families with my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. I started babysitting in my teens and was a preschool teacher, teaching infants to 5 years olds for 10 years while I earned my degree. I am currently working part time as Child Development Specialist for children with Developmental delays through Regional Center while supporting and coaching parents. I have over 10 years of experience dealing with challenging behaviors and have taken many trainings on positive redirection and gentle parenting approaches. My educating skills include brining advice and tips for parents when requested, along with education learning activity ideas to enjoy with your child during everyday activities while using the materials and supplies from your home. I am familiar with Montessori and Reggio Amelia philosophy's of teaching. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, exercising and spending time with my dogs and partner on my free time.
