I have many years of experience helping care for elderly family members, including my grandmother, who has dementia. I've also helped a coworker care for their mother with Alzheimer's, providing support and companionship. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and understanding when caring for older adults. I understand that caregiving is about more than just helping with daily needs. Sometimes, having someone to talk to, spend time with, or simply keep them company can make all the difference.
