About Monae

As a dedicated childcare provider with 5 years of experience, I currently work as a Lead Pre Teacher and have been in this role for 3 years (going on 4 this July). I have a passion for nurturing young children and helping them learn, grow, and feel safe in their environment. Through both teaching and babysitting, I've developed a calm, patient, and engaging approach. I'm very familiar with daily routines, transitions, and bedtime, and I enjoy creating a balance of fun and structure-whether that's through play, hands-on activities, or quiet wind-down time. I value clear and consistent communication with parents and always aim to keep them updated so they feel comfortable and confident while they're away. I also respect and follow each family's routines and household expectations to ensure consistency for the child. My goal is always to create a safe, supportive, and positive environment where children can feel comfortable, have fun, and thrive.
