About Molly

My prior students have described me as approachable, motivating, and adaptable. With tutoring, I can focus on my student's specific strengths/weaknesses when structuring lesson plans. I'm looking for a job where I can directly support my students with their career goals, especially in science and medicine (MCAT). I started tutoring in undergrad from 2012 to 2013. I worked with our professor to support psychology majors interested in taking classes in neurobiology. I have my Doctorate in Neuroscience. I studied neuronal mechanisms in ASD for my thesis and in chronic pain for my Postdoctoral training. I enjoyed teaching/mentoring throughout my training, so I'm tutoring while recovering from an injury. Students keep my mind sharp. My skills include modeling/diagraming, breaking down complex concepts into their logical constituents, and adapting materials based on my student's favored learning modalities.
