About Moira

I am an educational therapist and learning consultant who specializes in providing intensive individualized educational therapy and comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations that lead to diagnosis, recommendations and remediation of learning difficulties, challenges and disabilities. I have been in private practice since 1995 and specialize in multi sensory language education which has its roots in the early works of a neuro-psychiatrist and pathologist who, along with an educator developed the Orton-Gillingham Approach. This approach is based on building a network of sound symbol associations using visual, auditory, kinesthetic and tactile modalities simultaneously. I also specialize in the development of executive functioning skills.
