About Mitzi

Preschool experience: My name is Mitzi and working with children is my passion. I worked as the 2-year-olds' teacher at a Christian preschool for over 14 years. During that time, I coordinated and worked with parents on an individual basis, keeping them informed of their child's needs, progress, and achievements. I fostered a positive environment that enriched the physical and intellectual growth for the children in my care. My goal was to engage the children through the teaching of phonics, letters, numbers and colors. One of my favorite learning exercises with children is to stimulate the child's imagination and vocabulary growth by enthusiastically reading stories to them. Nanny experience: I have worked with two wonderful families where it was a true pleasure to watch the babies grow and reach new milestones, especially since they were both preemies. I would love to use my formal training of childcare experience to care for your child! Also love pets! ;)
