About Misty

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, encouraging, and kind. I like tutoring because I love watching the lightbulb go off in kids brains. I also love for them to feel capable and smart! I'm looking for a job that is flexible, but consistent. I started tutoring when I was in high school in 2008. I have worked with kids of all ages including adult learners. In my spare time, I like to hike, garden, read, and go on adventures! One thing you should know about me is I am always on time, I will love your kids and will pray for them. I truly feel called to work with kids and help them become and be their best selves! My skills include History, Government, Writing, economics, Geography, and Reading.
