About Misty
Experience: 10 yrs
Empowering students to reach their full potential drives my work as an educator. With 10 years of experience, I specialize in identifying how you learn best, pinpointing specific hurdles, and building a custom plan to bridge foundational gaps. I actively observe your interactions with new material to adapt my methods, whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or guided discussions. By connecting complex concepts to your personal interests and breaking problems into manageable steps, I ensure you stay motivated and confident. I believe consistent communication with you and your family is essential to setting clear expectations and achieving results. Nothing is more rewarding than watching your confidence grow as you master new skills. I hold a college degree and am ready to support your academic journey in Math, Science, English, or Test Prep. I look forward to helping you turn your academic goals into reality.
