About Doris

Empowering students to reach their full potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. With three years of experience, I specialize in Math and English for students ranging from elementary school to adulthood. I believe that building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning is far more impactful than simple memorization. By actively listening to how you interact with new material, I tailor my methods to fit your unique needs. I keep lessons engaging by connecting complex concepts to your personal interests and celebrating every small success along the way. Open communication with both you and your parents is vital to building the trust necessary for academic growth. Seeing a student's confidence flourish as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I truly look forward to helping you achieve your goals and watching you succeed.
