About Misty

Hello! There is nothing more rewarding, then getting to care for someone who has lived far longer than any of us and has so much to still pass on. I always try to give people the respect that I would appreciate. I had care of my GM who suffered from dementia in 2008 and it was such a bittersweet experience but I'm so grateful that I was able to give her as much enjoyment and comfort as possible. More experience wise, I cared for my husband until the day he passed, which was eight out of the 16 years that we were married after he had a severe car accident that immobilized him with brain trauma, paralyzed and a broken body. I have a lot of experience in urgent care situations and I have worked closely with many home health nurses, hospital staff and hospice workers who have taught me how to do the job best and have taught me many medical conditions to look for, and be aware of possible symptoms that could be taking place with the patient. I would love to give families peace & comfort.
