We cannot recommend Richard highly enough. He cared for our mother for five years, from the age of 96 until her passing at 101. What began as just a few days each week gradually grew into almost daily care. Over those years, Richard became much more than a caregiver—he became part of our family. Richard is one of the most dependable people we have ever known. If our mother needed help, he was there. More than once he took her to the emergency room in the middle of the night and stayed by her side until she was comfortable, her care was arranged, and we knew she was in good hands. We never had to wonder whether he would show up or follow through. He always did. He handled countless day-to-day responsibilities that allowed our mother to remain as independent as possible. He drove her to medical appointments, scheduled appointments, picked up prescriptions, took her shopping, ran errands, and helped with all the little details that become so important as someone ages. For our family, Richard’s greatest gift was the peace of mind he gave us. With only one of us living nearby, having someone we trusted completely meant our sister could spend meaningful time simply being a daughter instead of constantly managing appointments and errands. That was an incredible gift to all of us. Richard treated our mother with kindness, respect, patience, and genuine compassion. She trusted him completely, and so did we. Knowing he was with her allowed us to worry less because we knew she was being cared for by someone who truly cared about her as a person. Any family fortunate enough to have Richard caring for a loved one will quickly understand why we recommend him without hesitation. He is dependable, trustworthy, compassionate, calm under pressure, and willing to do whatever is needed. We are deeply grateful for everything he did for our mother and for our family during those five years. We give Richard our highest recommendation and would gladly entrust the care of someone we love to him again. With gratitude, The H. Sisters Karen, Andrea, and Elizabeth
