I am an 18-year-old girl who loves working and having fun with younger kids. I worked at the Reno Sportsdome for three years with kids aged 1-12 coaching soccer and 8am-6 p.m. day-care through camps. With the soccer classes it was either one on one or with groups 4-8 kids in each, during camps I worked with all age groups focusing on whatever one needed more help that day. I frequently babysit my little cousin who is a 3-year-old girl, and making kids feel comfortable and safe under my supervision is my priority. Once these needs are met, having fun comes second. I love to be a friend to these kids but also recognize the importance of respect, authority, routines, and discipline.
