About Miranda

Hi! My name is Miranda, and I'm a graduate from the University of Michigan, with a dual degree in psychology and creative studies. I have two years of experience mentoring/assistant teaching at Forsythe Middle School through Michigan's Mentorship Program, as well as three years of experience babysitting in high school, and caring for one child for a year in 2019. Through my coursework and this program, I am very familiar with understanding and working with differently-abled children. Specifically working with children with autism/ADHD/trauma has been a big part of my studies and focus through the mentorship program. I recently decided to leave my media job at the University of Michigan, as I've realized I want to work with children longterm. I now live in Detroit and I am pursuing my own creative projects, as well as hopefully finding a consistent care job.
