About Makayla

Hi families! I'm currently studying elementary education at the University of Michigan-Dearborn and am looking for a recurring babysitting or nanny position. I'm available Wednesday through Sunday, with Tuesday evenings as an option when needed. I've been babysitting for my family since I was around 12 or 13 and have experience caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, and elementary-aged children. Through my education program, I've continued learning about child development and have also had the opportunity to work with middle school students. I love being someone children feel safe and comfortable around. I enjoy encouraging their interests, helping them academically, and supporting them as they learn and grow. I recently earned my Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/AED and Pediatric First Aid training certification, and I'm excited to combine my hands-on experience with what I'm learning in school to provide caring, supportive childcare!
