About Miranda

Greetings! I'm a California native who holds a master's from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and a bachelor's from U. C. Santa Barbara, (where I earned a degree in Spanish.) Often spotted with a pen in hand, I spend the bulk of my days writing as a professional journalist. My superpower is my way with words, and ability to transfer that skill to my students. My mission is to make the nebulous process of drafting clear, concise and cogent sentences surfable. I also hold a Content-Language Integrated Learning teaching certificate from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and I just returned from seven months in Latin America, where I spoke Spanish and Portuguese regularly and spent time with family.
