I've worked with seniors as a physical therapy technician at a post-surgery rehab facility and then as a private in-home caregiver for a group home. My daily job duties included medication management, toileting, bathing, dressing, laundry, cleaning, activities of daily living, transportation, mobility assistance, meal preparation, feeding, taking and recording vital signs, and companionship. I am a certified caregiver, EMT, and have graduated from nursing assisting school. I discovered a love for medicine and caring for the elderly in these jobs and am excited to be starting nursing school this fall of 2025!
