Hi! I recently moved to Minneapolis from California and am looking for part-time work as I settle in. I graduated from UC Davis in CA with a BS in Food Science & Technology. I have also taken relevant courses to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy (OT). My experience with children ages 12m to 16y/o. My experience includes: -babysitter/nanny/household manager for families up to 4 children - lifeguard and swim instructor - recreational park leader for an after school program - volunteered and observed Occupational Therapy sessions at an ABA/SLP/OT facility - Completion of Human Development Psychology and Abnormal Psychology I consider myself a reliable, responsible, and patient caregiver. I like to connect with kids through thoughtful play and to let them lead the play with their imaginations. I'm comfortable with pets, and have my own transportation. In my spare time, I enjoy being outside, practicing my crafts, and cooking. I look forward to hearing your family's needs!

Minh helped care for our toddler from ~1.8yrs-2.5yrs old. She was always on time, very professional in her demeanor and communications, and really seemed to take the job seriously. Our daughter really engaged with Minh and enjoyed having her around, was always sad to see Minh go. At times when our child was less than cooperative (2 yrs old afterall!), Minh wasnt at all flustered and always kept a level head and calm soothing tone. Minh had a natural talent for physical play, skills, and exercise kinds of activities, which was great as our child was in that stage of really learning balance, agility, etc. Our nap schedule is quite variable, but Minh was happy to help out around the house while waiting for our child to wake up again. Minh was easy to work with and happy to adapt to the nuances of our household, something we very much appreciated. Unfortunate for us that Minh had to move and couldnt continue working with our daughter, but I suppose this is actually fortunate for new families out there looking for some reliable, friendly, child care help!
