About Minah

Hi! My name is Minah and I've been working with kids since I was 16. I started off as a swim instructor, teaching children how to swim and build confidence in the water. I worked at two different swim schools, then moved into childcare. I now work at a daycare as a substitute teacher and also babysit on call through an agency. One thing I really love about working with kids is watching their growth. Whether it's learning something new, becoming more confident, or just seeing their personality come out more, it's always a good feeling to be a part of that. In my spare time I like to bake and decorate treats. I'm a pretty creative person and I like bringing that into the way I care for kids. I would say I'm very outgoing, patient, and caring. I'm naturally good at connecting with children and I always try to create a space where they feel comfortable, safe, and able to be themselves. My top childcare skills are patience, communication, and creativity.
