Mimi applied to my job posting and I responded back with the details of the job saying that I have 2 kids 23 months old and would need care for 6.5 - 7 hours while we work. She said she was interested. We negotiated with her the dates and rate and she said she was fine. We welcomed her into our home just by speaking with her over the phone as we were in a hurry for a nanny (As our regular nanny was sick and could no longer care for my kids) .The initial meet and greet went fine and she promised she will be there the next morning from 7 AM. Next morning comes ... and radio silence. I texted her asking if she was running late and there was no response at all. Both I and my husband work full time and both have busy schedules. If she was not happy about something she could have given us a heads-up as early as possible so we could have planned accordingly. However she showed us that you cant count on her. Very very unreliable, unprofessional and unethical. Not qualities you would expect from a nanny. Choose wisely.
