About Mila

Hi! I am ambitious, curious, persistent, and excited when it comes to teaching. I have picked up 4 years of paid experience through teaching music to elementary school age kids on Sundays, but beyond that I have tutored middle schoolers in math in the classroom and one-on-one setting. I am always looking for ways to make teaching fun, whether it be identifying different types of vehicles with the 2-year-old I babysit, implementing rhyming practice with K-1st graders at the summer camp I work at, or encouraging the older elementary schoolers I work with to create their own questions to investigate. I am most specialized in middle and elementary school education, as well as music! My focus is to get students excited to learn more about the tasks that face them, and to become energized by challenge instead of fearing it.
