About Mikiko

I have loved working with children and generally being a caregiver for my whole life. I started at the age of 12 by babysitting for the families in my neighborhood. I have a lot of experience working with children with physical and developmental disabilities as I worked at an institute for developmentally disabled children for 3 years during college. After that I got my CNA certification and worked in a nursing home in a nursing home for the past 8 years. Recently I have taken a break from caregiving to pursue a degree in nursing and hope to become a pediatric or neonatal nurse in the future. As I finish up my degree I am looking to take on some part time jobs with children. I love providing care for others with a gentle hand and a goofy smile!
