About Mikena

My passion for tutoring began in middle school, where I volunteered to help classmates in 6th through 8th grade. Since then, I've continued to prioritize academics, currently a straight-A student at San Diego State University, majoring in Business Management with a minor in Management Information Systems. I've completed four internships in marketing, consulting, and tech, which have sharpened my communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills. I am particularly skilled in Math and English ( having passed 2 AP tests in English) and studied varieties of mathematics in college (Stats and Calculus). I understand that every student learns at different paces and has differnt learning styles, which is why it's important to adapt and learn from those that I tutor.
