About Mikayla

I am empathetic, creative, and responsible I love working with kids because of their big imaginations, honesty, and curiosity. It is so fulfilling caring for them and building relationships with them. I'm looking for a summer job that is during weekdays. I would love to work with kids that love imaginative play and creative activities. I started working with kids when I was 13, first babysitting weekly. I co-lead a summer camp and then worked for two years at an after school care program. I then nannied almost full time over last summer and have continued to babysit. In my spare time, I like to lift, thrift, spend time outside, spend time with friends. One thing you should know about me is I am intentional about building positive relationships with the kids I work with and really value their safety and happiness. My skills include immersing the kids in creative activities or play, ensuring that the kids feel heard and cared about, and being reliable and stable for the family.
