About Mikayla

Hi! My name is Mikayla, and I am currently looking to care for a couple of children in my home beginning in April (with flexibility on the start date). I offer a loving, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel safe and supported. I have over nine years of childcare experience, beginning as a nanny at age 18 and working with multiple families. After having my first daughter and relocating, I worked as a caregiver for a woman with disabilities before transitioning to in-home childcare so I could stay home with my children while continuing the work I love. I have also served as the Nursery Coordinator at my church. I am dependable, honest, and caring, and as a mother myself, I understand the importance of trust. We are a Christian, pet-free, smoke-free, and alcohol-free home. I enjoy planning enriching activities and outings such as trips to parks, the beach, museums, and the zoo.
