About Mika

Hi! Thank you for your interest in my profile! Short professional bio: I graduated from UTSA with my undergrad degree in psychology. From there I worked as a registered behavior technician which entailed delivering one-on-one applied behavior analysis treatment to kids with autism aged 3-12. Then, I went back to UTSA for my early childhood-grade 6 teaching certification. As a teacher, I have worked as a reading interventionist, 2nd grade classroom teacher and I am SO excited to be teaching kindergarten this upcoming school year. I do have experience as a nanny and babysitter as well. I have enjoyed bringing my teaching experience into my babysitting and nannying jobs. Some things that I like to do while babysitting/nannying include crafts, anything outside, learning activities even with very littles, reading books, and outings. I am very blessed to have found a career that I love. I am a creative, nurturing and devoted caregiver.
